Thakur sends an emissary to Ramlal, who is charmed to give his little girl to Thakur in marriage, and the wedding is commended with due service. Pooja is exceptionally partial to Raju, and takes him alongside her to her better half's home. This is the main "blessing" that Pooja's devastated guardians can give their little girl at the wedding, and it is likewise advantageous for the young man to experience childhood in an increasingly prosperous family unit. At the Thakur's palatial home, Pooja is welcomed by Jyoti (Rambha), Thakur's child sister. The years pass. Shockingly, Pooja has been not able hold up under youngsters. Raju, presently grown up, is seriously connected and faithful to Thakur, his brother by marriage. He and Thakur's sister Jyoti are infatuated. At some point, Thakur meets Vaishali (Shweta Menon), a prostitute who sings and moves as a profession. Vaishali has no relatives with the exception of one sibling, a corrupt card-sharp named Gajendra who lives off his sister's income. Vaishali entices the Thakur and turns into his escort. Her sibling, acting like a decent man, requests that Thakur wed Vaishali and make the relationship open. Thakur is hesitant. From one viewpoint, he conceivably trusts that Vaishali will make him a dad. Then again, he is joined to his loyal spouse and adoring brother by marriage. Gajendra and his companions bring forth a plot to take out two targets with one shot: to initiate Thakur to wed Vaishali, and in the meantime, break the solid connection among Thakur and Raju. The schemers make a trick of Raju, because of which he makes the police strike Gajendra's home, on the charge that the house is being utilized as a massage parlor. Amid the police assault, Raju is alarmed to find that the 'client' found in Vaishali's organization is none other than his brother by marriage. Thakur is additionally maddened to find that the individual who has caused him this disgrace and police trap is none other than Raju. So as to dodge lawful procedures, Thakur tells the police that he is available in the house so as to talk about the likelihood of wedding Vaishali, reason being that his significant other has stayed childless. Raju falls at Thakur's feet, asks absolution, and begs him not to take a second spouse. His requests fail to attract anyone's attention; Thakur properly weds Vaishali and takes her home. Raju tells his folks of what has occurred, of how Pooja now has a co-spouse. They go to Thakur's manor and make a scene. Irritated at the confusion, Thakur advises Pooja to settle on her decision for the last time: she can either acknowledge Vaishali as her co-spouse and stay in his family unit with the decency of being the senior wife, or leave with her folks for good. Pooja stays with her better half and co-spouse, for as she says, that is her wifely obligation; her significant other's home is the main reasonable living arrangement for a wedded lady. Raju, who has lived in Thakur's family unit for a long time, presently leaves with his folks.
These occasions cause an incredible fracture between the two families, in view of which the two darlings (Raju and Jyoti) are isolated. Vaishali is tucked away in the Thakur's house, and her sibling turns into Thakur's partner. He presently needs to wed Thakur's sister Jyoti, with the goal that he and his sister Vaishali will thoroughly control the huge abundance of the Thakur family. A guileless Thakur is taken in by his new brother by marriage appearing fairness, and it is masterminded that Gajendra will wed Jyoti. In any case, Jyoti valiantly declines to wed anybody with the exception of Raju. She is bolstered by Pooja, who points out that it would not be right and even evil for Jyoti to wed one man while being enamored with another; purity of the psyche is as vital as virtuousness of the body.
Thakur chooses to postpone the issue for now. Gajendra is alarmed at this, and makes an arrangement to snatch Jyoti, so that thereafter she will have no real option except to wed him. He uncovers his arrangement to his sister and requests that her assistance him, however Vaishali has experienced an identity change after her marriage. She presently needs to be a decent lady, and is greatly thankful to Thakur for having allowed her to change. She castigates and restricts her sibling, and clarifies that she will advise her significant other. Gajendra feels sold out by his sister and sees that she has picked up so much (Thakur's riches, his social standing and the decency of wifehood), while he, Gajendra, has in actuality lost his solitary wellspring of salary, which was the cash from his sister's melody and-move exhibitions. In an attack of anger, he dives a blade into Vaishali's stomach and executes her. He at that point tries to outline Thakur for Vaishali's homicide. There are some further (rather limitless) trickeries until, in the peak, Thakur understands that he has been utilized and controlled, and furthermore that Raju (the legend of the film), is the exemplification of goodness, reliability, warmth and each honorable human quality. At Thakur's command, Raju dispatches the miscreants, salvages Jyoti and secures Thakur's respect, gamely taking a slug in the shoulder amid the Enormous Battle. He gets by to move another melody, and Thakur, presently accommodated with his darling and faithful Raju, gives Jyoti in marriage to him. The two couples live cheerfully ever after, with incredible love existing both inside each couple and between the two couples.
